Combe Haven CP (eastern side) 7-10 SR 80 Chiffchaffs, 11 Sedge Warblers, 1 Reed Warbler, 32 Blackcaps, 9 Whitethroats, 5 Goldcrests, 500 House Martins, 120 Swallows, 30 Sand Martins, 1 Whinchat, 2 Wheatears and a Redstart.

Meadow Pipit 270 on and 122 W, Yellow Wagtail 10 on and 17 W, Tree Pipit 1 W, Tree Sparrow 2 W.

Fairlight cliffs 6.25-7.25 AP Chiffchaff 4 in, 1 Dartford Warbler and a Wheatear.

Westerly passage of Meadow Pipit 449, Pied Wagtail 1, Yellow Wagtail 3, Starling 4, House Martin 47, Swallow 32, Linnet 8, Reed Bunting 3 and Dunnock 2.

North’s Seat 6.45 AG 14 Chiffchaffs, 3 Blackcaps, 1 Whitethroat and 2 Goldcrests. Meadow pipit 4 W.

Barley Lane 7.55 AG 29 Chiffchaffs, 6 Blackcaps, 1 Redstart, 1 Willow Warbler, 2 Goldcrests and 28 Robins.

Pied Wagtail 2 W and Meadow Pipit 65 in/W.

East Hill 9.15-11 AG 120 House Martins, 6 Sand Martins, 110 Swallows, 12 Robins, 10 Chiffchaffs, 5 Wheatears, 15 Blackcaps and a Lesser Whitethroat.

Great White Egret – at 9.55 two flew together, possibly having arrived at the cliffs, quite low westwards over the Old Town and West Hill, then turned northwards, perhaps having sighted the waters of Alexandra Park. However they soon resumed their westward flight and were watched flying steadily and passing just inland of the telephone mast at Summerfields.

Great Spotted Woodpecker 2 W together, Bluetit 4 W and Meadow Pipit 38 in/W.
